What is the difference between Evaporation and Boiling?

They both turn liquid to gas, but they are different. Boiling happens at a specific temperature (100°C for water) and throughout the liquid.

Evaporation happens at ANY temperature and only at the surface. This is how your clothes dry on the line, and why sweating cools you down.
