Conductors allow electricity and heat to pass through easily. Metals like Copper, Aluminum, and Iron are great conductors.

Insulators do not allow easy flow. Plastic, wood, and rubber are insulators. This is why electrical wires are wrapped in plastic—to protect you from the current.
